The 2014 Arizona Cardinals Season

An Albany, New York, resident, PJ Blanchfield formerly served as an assistant district attorney for Albany County and currently maintains a private law practice in the area. To relax, PJ Blanchfield enjoys watching the Arizona Cardinals, his favorite NFL team.

After wrapping up its final preseason game on August 28, 2014, the Arizona Cardinals will kick off its 2014 NFL regular season on September 8. The team’s first game will see it hosting the San Diego Chargers at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The game is scheduled to be televised as the second of two back-to-back matchups as part of the first Monday Night Football broadcast of the season.

Notable games throughout year include those against the division rival San Francisco 49ers on September 21 and the defending AFC champion Denver Broncos on October 5, as well as potentially key late-season matchups like a December 11 Thursday Night Football-televised clash with the St. Louis Rams and a December 21 contest to be broadcast on Sunday Night Football with the reigning Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks.
